Destination Covered: Delhi - Board Train - Shimla - Sarahan - Kalpa - Tabo - Kaza - Keylong - Sarchu – Leh (15 Nights / 16 Days) Day 01 / Arrival at Delhi: You will be gently greeted by our tour representative at the Delhi airport on your arrival and later your transfer arrangement will be made to check in to the hotel. Enjoy entire day for leisure. Stay overnight in Delhi. Day 02 / Delhi-Kalka (by train): After the morning breakfast, enjoy Delhi sightseeing tour where you will visit renowned heritage monuments and numerous wonderful historical and modern architectures. After that in evening, our representative will transfer you to the railways station to board the overnight train for Kalka. Overnight in Train. Day 03 / Kalka-Shimla: Take morning breakfast and drive to Shimla (Aprx 3 Hrs.) Arrive Shimla and check-in to hotel. Rest of the day is for leisure as per your own will. Overnight stay arrangement is made in hotel in Shimla. Day 04 / Shimla: After the morning breakfast, enjoy full day sightseeing tour of Shimla where you will get chance to visit Kalbadevi Temple, Jakhu Temple, Hanuman Temple or stop for a while at the beautiful stained – glass - windows of Christ Church, which was built in the 1850 ‘s. Rest of the day is free to explore various scenic sights or visit mall road and shopping. Overnight stay arrangement is made in hotel in Shimla. Day 05 / Shimla – Kufri - Shimla After the morning breakfast drive to Kufri a 30 Minutes drive from Shimla (to see excursion of Shimla). Enjoy seeing the surrounded dense forest and snow caped mountains amidst virgin peaks and nature’s flora and fauna. During evening you are free to enjoy the scenic beauty of Kufri. Also visit Fagu, Indira Gandhi Holiday Home and enjoy horse riding (optional) in the apple orchids. Rest of the day is free to explore various scenic sights or visit mall road. Night stay in Shimla. Day 06 / Shimla – Sarahan: Early morning drive to Sarahan (7 hrs drive) through Jeep Safari, en- route visiting Sun temple at Nirath and Padum Palace at Rampur. You will also visit to Bhimakali temple a rare combination of Buddhist and Hindu Temple in evening. Night stay in Sarahan. Day 07 / Sarahan- Kalpa: After the morning breakfast, drive to Kalpa (4 hrs drive) located in backdrop of Kinner Kailash mountain range. En- route visit Recongpeo, the headquarters of Kinnaur. Night stay in Kalpa. Day 08 / Kalpa- Tabo: Early morning drive from Kalpa to Tabo which is positioned near the Tibetan border. En- route visiting Nako village beautifully located on banks of a small lake. You can also enjoy natural surroundings nearby the place. You will also visit the 16th and 17th century paintings at Tabo Monastery, linked with growth of Buddhism in Tibet. Night stay in Tabo. Day 09 / Tabo- Kaza: After the morning breakfast, drive to Kaza (5 hrs drive). En route visit Dhankar Monastery, the old capital of Spiti. You have reached at the highest motorable villages of the world. You will also visit Ki Monastery, which houses valuable Thangkas and offers a panoramic view of the area. Also visit highest permanently inhabited village of the region named- Gompa at Kibber. Night stay in Kaza. Day 10 / Kaza- Keylong: Early morning drive to Keylong via Kunzum La Pass crossing over the Rohtang Pass, Marhi, Koksar, Sissu and Tandi villages. Check-in to the hotel on arrival at Keylong. Visit Keylong town and other natural beauties of the city and overnight at the hotel. Day 11 / Keylong: You are at Keylong for one more exciting day. Enjoy full day Keylong sightseeing tour. Night stay in Keylong. Day 12 / Keylong- Sarchu: Take morning breakfast and drive to Sarchu (137 km). En-route visit Baralacha Pass 4900 mt. Enjoy the loneliness for entire day which would be a wonderful Himalayan safari day with stunning views on the way. Check in at the tented camps on arrival at Sarchu plains for overnight stay. Day 13 / Sarchu -Leh: Take a leisurely early morning breakfast and drive to Leh (222 kms) via Tanglangla pass 5300 mt, and driving past the great plains of Moree. Enjoy visiting the panoramic view of the pass during the drive. Arrive Leh and check in at the Hotel. Evening free at leisure and overnight at the hotel. Day 14 / Leh: After the morning breakfast, enjoy full day Leh sightseeing tour where you will visit renowned visit Hall of Fame, Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa. Enjoy entire day for leisure and explore Leh bazaar in evening. Stay overnight in hotel. Day 15 / Leh: After the morning breakfast, enjoy full day Leh sightseeing tour where you will visit renowned Thiksey Gompa, Royal Museum at Stok Palace, tagna & Changchubling Hemis Monasteries and Spituk Monastery. Also visit Sankar Gompa, a monastery decorated with bright murals, is the official dwelling of the head of the Gelugpa (yellow hat) sect of Tibetan Buddhism. It was once the major link on the 'Silk Route'. Stay overnight at the hotel in Leh. Day 16/ Leh-Delhi-Departure: Take morning breakfast and enjoy a few moments in leisure. Later our representative will transfer you to airport to board on flight for Delhi. Here, your airport transfer arrangement will be made to board your return flight back to your own destination.
