Thiruvananthapuram -Periyar -Alleppey -Cochin -Ooty -Bandipur -Mysore -Bangalore (13Nights / 14 Days) Day 01/Thiruvananthapuram - Kovalam Arrive Thiruvananthapuram Located at the South Western tip of India, is bounded by the Arabian sea on the West and Tamil Nadu on the East. From the airport we drive down to Kovalam and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay in Kovalam. Day 02/Kovalam Breakfast in hotel, after leisurely breakfast proceed for full day excursion of Kanyakumari - the southermost tip of India. In the evening we return back to Kovalam. Overnight at Kovalam. Day 03/Kovalam - Alleppey Today we drive down to Alleppey the most famous backwater destination of Kerala. Check into a traditional houseboat to enjoy a memorable backwater cruising along the Vembanad Lake, exploring the fascinating beauty of the backwaters. Enjoy your lunch, dinner and breakfast on board the Houseboat. Cruise through the backwaters to Kumarakom. Enjoy an overnight at comfortable Houseboat. Day 04/Kumarakom - Periyar Today morning after a relaxed breakfast we depart for Periyar -a wildlife sanctuary with beautiful lake. It is situated in lush green forest. On arrival transfer to hotel. Later take a spice plantation. Overnight at Periyar. Day 05/Periyar Early morning we take a jeep safari at Periyar to watch animals in their natural habitat on the water's edge. While cruising on Lake Periyar, you are likely to see animals like Wild Boars, Sambars, Wild Dogs, Langur Monkeys and Wild Elephants. For the lunch we return back to hotel. In the evening we return back to the hotel. Overnight at Periyar. Day 06/Periyar - Munnar In the morning, you proceed to Munnar, the prettiest hill station of south India, enjoying the scenic beauty of numerous waterfalls, lush green valleys and hills with the low flying clouds passing by on your way to Munnar. In the evening enjoy a sightseeing of Munnar. Visit Raja Malai, a high peak of Munnar where you can spot the Neel Tahr - a mountain goat- and sprawling tea gardens, which appear like a velvet lawns. Later enjoy a boat ride in the Lake of Muttupetty dam. Anamudi, the highest peak of Munnar at an altitude of 2695 m above sea level provide ideal conditions for trekking. Enjoy a boat ride in the afternoon. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 07/Munnar - Anamudi - Munnar After breakfast in the morning, visit Anamudi peak, tea plantations, Eravikulam National Park, Devikulam, Muttupetty, Pallivasal, Pothamedu, Attukal to name a few. Rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight at Munnar. Day 08/Munnar - Cochin Today morning after breakfast, we drive down to Cochin. Overnight stay at Cochin.Day 09/Cochin Enjoy a Full day sightseeing tour of Cochin while riding a boat. Visit the famous Chinese fishing nets along the Vasco De Gama Square, Santa Cruz Basilica, St. Francis Church, Bastion Bungalow to name a few. In the evening enjoy an interesting Kathakali dance performance. Overnight stay at hotel.Day 10/Cochin - Agatti (by flight) Today we transfer on time to the airport to board flight for Agatti. Agatti island is the gateway to Lakshadweep islands, a chain of little known islands, lying about 320 Km off the south west coast of India. A holiday at Agatti island resort at Agatti island is sure to bring about a refreshing change in you. Becuase very seldom does one get to live so close to nature. Be it on land or sea, at Agati, there's always peace and happiness in the air. Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Remainder of day leisure. Day 13/Agatti Full day at leisure. Overnight at Agatti or Bangaram island resort.Day 14/Agatti - Cochin (by flight) departure Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport to board flight for Cochin.
