Day 01: Departure from Mumbai (Wednesday): You will be warmly welcomed at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai by our representatives for Deccan Odyssey Tour. Transfer to the hotel. Check in and rest for a while. Later, you will be drive to the Chattrapati Shivaji terminus, from where your royal train tour begins. Day 02: Sindhudurg Nagari (Thursday): Arrive at Sindhudurg Railway station in morning. Take breakfast and later board on an air conditioned bus for the nest tourist destination Malvan Jetty and visit Sindhudurg Sea Fort. You will also be enjoying back water cruise through the Tarkarli beach to Kalse Jetty. Another bus ride to Sawantwadi town, where you will visit 'Shilpagrama' (the craft village). Departure of train from Sawantwadi railway station in the evening. Dinner onboard. Day 03: Goa (Friday): Morning arrival at Karmali (Goa). Take morning breakfast and enjoy sightseeing of Goa, where you will visit Basilica of Bom Jesus, Se Cathedral, Se Cathedral Church of St. Francis of Assissi, Anjuna Beach, Colva Beach, Dona Paula Beach, etc. Departure to Verna Railway Station for typical Goan lunch on board the train. Departure of train from Madgaon railway station to Kolhapur. Day 04: Kolhapur (Saturday): Arrival of train at Kolhapur railway station in morning. Kolhapur is situated on the banks of river Panchaganga. After morning breakfast, you will be visiting New Palace, Bhawani Mandap (The Town Hall), Mahalaxmi Temple, Shalini Palace. Be witness of traditional Martial Art locally known as "Mardani Khel" at Palace and enjoy cultural programme. You can leisurely do shopping as the city is well known for its textiles and cottons, in particular Kolhapuri saris. Departure of train for Aurangabad. Dinner on board. Day 05: Aurangabad (Sunday): Morning Arrival at Daulatabad station. Mohammed Bin Tughlak, the Sultan of Delhi, made it his capital and renamed it Daulatabad which was earlier known as Devgiri. Here you will visit major tourist spots such as Shivaji Museum, Aurangabad Caves, Bibi-ka-Maqbara, Daulatabad Fort, Ghrishneshwar Temple, etc. Departure of train from Aurangabad to the next stop Ellora caves, a World Heritage site which is positioned at 26 km north of Aurangabad. Enjoy visiting the famous Ellora caves. Later, leave for next destination to Chandrapur (Tadoba).Dinner onboard. Day 06: Chandrapur (Tadoba Wildlife Sanctuary) (Monday): Train will reach at Chandrapur Railway station in the morning. Take morning breakfast and be ready to visit the Tadoba Wildlife Sanctuary by Jeep Safari. Tadoba Wildlife Sanctuary is among the most beautiful sanctuary in the country that consists of around 50 Bengal Tigers, apart from Sambar, Gaur, Chinkara, Leopard cat, Pangolin, Panther, Spotted deer, Sloth bear, Chausinga, Nilgai, Barking deer, Indian bison, and Wild dog. It is also a paradise with a varied diversity of Migratory birds. Lunch onboard. Rest of the time is for your leisure. Afternoon arrive at Wardha Railway Station. Proceed to visit Sevagram or the 'Village of Service', which symbolizes the Gandhian way of life. Here you will see Adi Nivas (First Residence), Prayer Ground, Bapu Kuti, Ba Kuti, Gandhiji's Secretariat and Bapu's Kitchen. Dinner on board. Day 07: Ajanta Caves-Nasik (Tuesday): Train will reach at Bhusawal railway station in the morning. You will be drive to Ajanta by bus to reach Ajanta Caves. Take morning breakfast and be ready to see the famous Ajanta caves which is the place of renowned Buddhist caves and considered as a World Heritage Site. Board on train from Jalgaon railway station to proceed to Nashik. Lunch on-board. Arrive at Nasik Railway Station and after the arrival board the bus for departure to Panchawati Ghat a holy place known for Kumbh Mela. Later, you will be drive to visit Kala Ram Temple built in 1794. Evening board the train at Deolali railway station. Farewell dinner on-board. Day 08: Mumbai-Tour Ends (Wednesday) On eighth day of the Deccan Odyssey Train Tour, you will reach the Chattrapati Shivaji Terminus of Mumbai in the morning. Journey Ends. Our representative will make your transfer arrangement to the airport, to catch a flight back home.
