Arrive Chennai meet assist at the airport by our tour executive and then transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay in Chennai. Day 2/ Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram Morning we visit the sights of Madras, the capital city, popularly regarded as the 'Gateway to the South' represents a culture that is distinctly different from that of northern India. The places of interest are Kalakshetra, a school of art and music that encourages exponents of Bharatnatyam, Carnatic music, traditional weaving and designing; Fort St. George built in 1653 during British reign in India, - now houes the Secretariat and Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu; St. Mary's Church, the oldest Anglican Church in India with its premies; Sri Parthasarathy Temple built by Pallavas in the 8th century AD; Kapaliswara Temple.

Later we proceed for Mahabalipuram visiting Kanchipuram enroute . Kanchipuram, 70 kms west of Mahabalipuram, this city of thousand temples lies. One of the seven sacred cities of Hindus, it was the capital of the early Cholas as far back as the 2nd century BC. Kanchi was a major seat of Tamil learning as well as an important place of pilgrimage for Buddhists, Jains and Hindus. Apart from temples, the city is also famous for its silk weavers, settled here some 400 years ago and have given it an enviable reputation. Further we pro ceed down to Mahabalipuram. Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay in Mahabalipuram. Day 03/Mahabalipuram -Pondicherry Morning we visit the city - built in 7th century, earlier called Mahabalipooram, this ancient Pallava port, is today the sight of several antique sculptural marvels. Later we drive to Pondicherry. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Pondicherry. Overnight at Hotel. Day 4/ Pondicherry - Swami Malai Drive to Swami Malai ethnic Village Resort visiting en-route Chidambram and Gangaikonda Cholapuram. Overnight at Hotel.Day 5/ Swami Malai - Tanjore - TrichyMorning drive to Trichy visiting en-route Tanjore Temple. Arrive Trichy, check-in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Srirangam and Rock Fort. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 6/ Trichy - Madurai
Drive to Madurai and check-in at the hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Madurai. Overnight at Hotel.Day 7/ Madurai - Rameshwaram A full Day trip to visit Rameshwaram - one of the most holiest cities related to Hinduism. Overnight at Hotel.Day 8/ Madurai - Kanya Kumari - Kovalam Morning drive to Kanya Kumari (Cape Comorin), the last end of India where three Oceans meet. Continue to Kovalam and on arrival, Overnight at Hotel. Day 9/ Kovalam Kovalam Day at leisure. Overnight at Hotel. Day 10/ Kovalam - Periyar Morning drive to Periyar. Afternoon boat cruise on Lake Periyar to view wildlife. Overnight at Hotel. Day 11/ Periyar - Kumarakom backwaters Drive to Kottayam and board Kettuvalom also know as the Houseboat. Sail through the day and spend night on boat. Overnight on houseboatDay 12/ Alleppey - Cochin Arrive Alleppey-Cochin At noon time, disembark Houseboat at Alleppey and proceed to Cochin, 56 km. Overnight at Hotel. Day 13/ Cochin Cochin Morning sightseeing tour Evening witness Kathakali Dance Show in a Theatre. Overnight at Hotel. Day 14/ Cochin - Ooty Cochin-Ooty, 280 km Drive to Ooty and check-in at the hotel. Overnight at Hotel. Day 15/ Ooty - Coonoor - Ooty Full day sightseeing of Ooty and Coonoor. Over here one can also a world famous Toy train from Ooty to Coonoor or vice versa. Overnight at Hotel.Day 16/ Ooty - Mysore Morning we drive to Mysore and check-in at the hotel. Day 18/ Mysore - Hassan - MysoreDrive to Hassan and check-in at the hotel Afternoon visit Belur and Halebid Temples. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 19/ Hassan - SravanbelgolaBangalore Morning we drive to Bangalore visiting en-route Sravanbelgola. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour. Overnight at Hotel. Day 20/ Bangalore - Hampi Proceed to Hampi - the erstwhile capital city of Vijayanagar Empire which had Palaces, Temples and sculptures spread all over. The city was razed to the ground by the Sultanates of South in 1565. We Check in hotel at Hospet (12 km from Hampi). Rest of the day at your discretion or you can explore group of monuments at Hampi. Overnight at the hotel. Day 21/ Hampi Whole day we explore the wealthy monuments of Hampi. Evening return back to hotel for overnight stay. Day 22/ Hampi - Bijapur Today we drive down to Bijapur which was the capital of the Adil Shah Kings who left a wealth of monuments. The most famous is the Gol Gumbaz whose dome is the second largest in the world. A whisper into the dome on one side gets magnified 12 times and on the other side of the dome is an amazing acoustical phenomenon. Other buildings to see are Ibrahim Rauza, Gagan Mahal, Bara Kaman etc. Overnight at the hotel. Day 23/ Bijapur - Goa After break fast we proceed to Goa. Arrive and check in hotel. For the day you are free to relax. Overnight at the hotel. Day 24/ Goa We start our half-day sightseeing tour from the slopes of Altinho Hill for a breathtaking view of Panjim and river Mandovi. Then to Dona-Paula for a view of India's largest natural harbour-Mormugao. Afterwards we visit old Goa and see the Basillica of Bom Jesus which contains the tomb & mortal remains of St. Francis Xavierh housed in a silver ornate casket , Se. Cathedral- the biggest Church in the East, St. Cajetan- built like St. Peter (Rome), Church of Our Lady Rosary and St. Monica. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel. Day 25/ Goa Whole day free to explore its beaches or to relax. Overnight at the hotel. Day 26/ Goa - Mumbai Depart . From Goa board the flight for Mumbai. Day will be kept free at your discretion till the time of your departing flight. You'll be transferred to the Airport for onward flight.
