01 : Arrival Delhi (India)
Welcome to capital of India! meet assist at the airport
by our tour executive & then transfer to hotel.
Overnight in Delhi.
Day 02 : Delhi
Breakfast in hotel, after breakfast proceed for sightseeing
Old Delhi & New Delhi.
NEW DELHI - An extensive sight-seeing tour of New Delhi
would include a visit:- Humayun's Tomb - Built in the
mid 16th century by Haji Begum, senior wife of Humayun,
the second Mughal emperor, Humayun's Tomb is an early
example of Mughal architecture built in Delhi. Qutub
Minar - 13 km to the south of Connaught Circus at Lalkote
of 8th century Tomor Rajputs, the 72.5 m high Victory
Pillar stands as a victory stand of a Muslim King Kutub-ud-din-Aibak
in India. A drive along the ceremonial avenue - Rajpath,
past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House, the
President's Residence, Lotus Temple and would end with
a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave.
OLD DELHI - A sight-seeing tour of Old Delhi would entail
visiting:- Red Fort - The red sandstone walls of Lal
Qila, the Red Fort, extend for two km and vary in height
from 18 metres on the river side to 33 metres on the
city side. Shah Jahan started construction of the massive
fort in 1638 and it was completed in 1648. Jama Masjid
- Jama Masjid The splendid mosque built by Muhammad
Ali Shah in the typical Mughal style with two minarets
and three domes, lies to the west of the Hussainabad
Imambara. Raj Ghat - the memorial site where Mahatma
Gandhi was cremated. Night stay in Delhi.
Day 03 : Delhi - Jaipur
Proceed for JAIPUR after breakfast and reach by noon.
Proceed for shopping in the city during the evening
and overnight will be at Jaipur.
Day 04 : Jaipur
Proceed for morning excursion to Amber Fort after breakfast.
Elephant ride ascent to the fort. Spend the evening
shopping at one of the best textile and gems markets
in India. Overnight stay at Jaipur.
Day 05 : Jaipur - Agra
Proceed to Agra after an early breakfast. Visit the
monument of Fatehpur Sikri en-route. Reach Agra and
check in at hotel. Overnight stay at Agra.
Day 06 : Agra - Jhansi - Khajuraho
After leisurely breakfast in hotel, transfer to station
for train to Jhansi. Reach Jhansi and proceed to Orchha,
12 km away. Proceed for sightseeing of ORCHHA sites
within the Fort Complex. Enjoy your lunch at Orchha.
Continue drive to Khajuraho. Reach Khajuraho. Transferred
to hotel and relax. Evening will be free or you can
go out for a stroll and shopping. Overnight stay at
Khajuraho.
Day 07 : Khajuraho - Varanasi
Breakfast will be at hotel. Proceed for a sightseeing
tour of the FAMOUS TEMPLES of KHAJURAHO. Transfer in
time to airport for flight to Varanasi. Upon arrival
at Varanasi, you will be met and transferred to hotel.
Spend the evening shopping in the lanes of Varanasi.
Overnight stay at Varanasi.
Day 08 : Varanasi - Allahabad
After breakfast, drive to Allahabad. Upon arrival, transfer
and check into the hotel. Visit the temples, ashrams
and the SANGAM - the meeting point of the three rivers.
The rivers are GANGA, YAMUNA and SARASWATI. Stay overnight
at the hotel.
Day 9 : Allahabad - Varanasi
After breakfast, sightseeing of the city and visit to
an ashram. Drive to Varanasi in the afternoon and spend
the night in the holy city.
Day 10 : Varanasi - Delhi
In the early morning drive to Daswamedh Ghat and take
a boat ride on the sacred river Ganges to see the cremation
Ghats and witness the living traditions of one of the
world's oldest and most important religions. Transfer
to airport to board flight for Delhi. Reach Delhi and
on arrival transfer to international airport to board
flight for onward journey or way back home.
